Bibbed Apron pattern

During the depression people didn’t have the luxury of new clothing or a large wardrobe. Aprons protected existing clothing from damage during everyday chores.

Often made from feedcloth, recycled material from sugar, flour, and livestock feed sacks, they were full bibbed and followed an A-line silhouette. Thus, covering as much as the dress as possible with a minimal use of fabric.

Reproduction feedsack fabric is very popular and available at most local fabric stores. Pick something in your Kit’s favorite color and sew up a little piece of history.

This pattern is a digital download.  Upon completion of your PayPal payment you will be granted access to the file.

The pattern is a PDF.  You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or above  installed to view and print the pattern.
